Spoiler LED lights

Whats up guys, I tried doing a search but couldn't find a thread with the answer. I have an 03 G Coupe with the factory spoiler("ironboard") that has a few lights that are out on the LED brake light on the spoiler itself. Anyone know where I can buy replacement lights? I tried everythingg35.com, but couldn't find anything.

Anyone with any solutions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I think those LED lights should have an life-time warranty on them? Go see the dealer...

you can get them at your dealership, but pm tony@riverside and he should get you a good price.

Warranty at your dealership. LEDs shouldn't go out.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I didn't buy my vehicle at an Infiniti dealership. Should I still take it to one?

Just go to Radio Shack or Circuit City and get replacement leds. The only reason leds would start burning out is because water or condensation is getting into the unit.

what about the housing being cracked?

For some strange reason I have a chunk on the corner that cracked off and dissappeared....like someone tried to pry it off or something. Is that covered under warranty too?

The LEDs are lifetime. It'll fall under the regular warranty but don't think they would replace it if someone tryed to pry it off. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask them.

So I finally got around to calling an Infiniti dealership in my area about getting a replacement LED strip for my spoiler because a bunch of the lights are out.

I ask if the LED lights are under warranty, they say no. They call me back with a price. They say $251 just for the LED light. $333 installed. I thought maybe he was confused and though I wanted a spoiler installed, but he said that was the price for the light.

I'm stunned it's this much. I didn't expect to pay over $100, and even that is a stretch.

Any thoughts on this?

sounds like you might as well buy a new spoiler on ebay.

For that price, you might as well buy a new spoiler. I just disconnected the LEDs until the winter's gone.

I'm considering buying an aftermarket LED strip and have it installed by a friend who does that kind of work.

Anyone know the OEM length of the strip that I'll need? I seen some cheap sets on eBay that I'm willing to take a chance with.
