Whats up guys?
I am doing my demon eye install, painting my headlights, and putting the ccfl in the clearance strips this weekend. I have been able to cut my clearance strip lens to fit the ccfl in. My question is how do you make the back of the clearance strip lens nice and transparent again. Right now it is pretty foggy looking from using the dremel to cut the lens. I have sanded it down with 400 grit wet sand paper and it still looks really foggy. What is the best way to take care of this? Higher grit wet sand paper?

I dont know the process I'd probably expect something like 1,800 grit wet sanding and then buffing it out ?

 

you'll have to wetsand up to 1-2000 grit wet, then use a plastic polish. Another way is to take a torch to the plastic after wetsanding to glaze the surface which slightly melts it and makes it clear, but its tricky and takes a while to perfect.
