I like your grill, I have the gold emblem on my stock grill. Did you get the gold emblem from your stock grill and put it on that one.

Well sort of. I think the gold goes well with the C-Blue. Since I debadged the rear of the G35c, I ordered gold plating for the Infiniti emblem and the G35 both placed on the rear trunk lid. At the same time I ordered Gold plating for the front grille emblem, and had that for a while on the original OEM grille, before I installed the Gailla grille. After installing the Gailla grille, I added the Gold plated emblem to the center of the grille.

Great job in the install and thanks for a detailed install walk through. What was the hardest part about the install. I've thought of doing an install but wasn't sure of what was involved in removing the bumper. Looks like a big job. Do you have details on the steps you took to remove the bumper? Did it take you long?

Re: DIY Aux. front lights on G35c.

The hardest part was locating an appropriate place in the fire wall to pass the wires to the on/Off switch installed near the mirrors control. I decided not to risk that part of the install, and had it done by a local professional audio shop that had previously installed my dual band Amateur Radio transmitter. They knew where they had penetrated the fire wall previously. I couldn't find where they went through, and decided not to risk damaging the many harnesses in that area.
I have no idea as to how the front bumper was removed. The G35c was in a repair shop for $3,000 damage done by some "ding-a-ling" who backed into my G35c while I was driving down the aisle in a local grocery parking lot. She creased the whole right side of the car. Ouch !
Fortunately for me, the repair shop allowed me access to the car when they had it all apart. I thought this would be good time to get the Aux Lights installed. It also made installing the harness a lot easier. While everything was apart, I also used another G35driver.com post, to rewire the front orange marker lights to blink when I use the turn signals. Two mods when everthing was apart. There are probably other posts that spell out how the front bumper is removed.
