Hmm, your shop should be able to figure something out, try another shop, maybe they can fabricate something for you. Do what ever you like to your car bro, sorry you couldn't get a straight answer. Until these fools pay your payment, do what you like to your ride.

im 18 nd i wouldnt ever think of ruining a beautiful car such as a G with such a "rice" thing as underglows while ur at it you should throw a wing on there taller than the roof but as far as mounting it around the muffler just have them mount it on the muffler and it should be fine if a shop cant figure it out i wouldnt have them do much to my car

Underglow only goes on certain cars/trucks. I looked good on my sebring and on my friend's slammed silverado. But a G....no...MAYBE a Z but even that would be a stretch. They belong on...and I use this term loosely...sporty cars. Now while the G is sporty, it's more toward the luxury side of sport. And true it has died out a lot but it's his car and he can do what he wants.

You could always just have them mount some form of heat sheilding to protect the wires. I no I had my wire for the back basically on top of the muffler and no issue...with that one.
