Saw an SUV w/ it's door self-handles illuminated in a green hue. Theirs was no doubt OEM, but I think I like blue better anyway. What do you think?

Yeah, but it's tied into my remote start system. So once I'm in the car and ready to drive, they are off. You won't see my car driving down the street and make you go "what the hell is that?"

This is almost as bad as that LED underbody lighting post, IMO.

I think that would be fine if it was lit up on approach to the car but not driving down the street. I would tie them into the dome light or something so when you unlock the car they light up and when you start it they go off. That would be classy IMO

 

I think it would be pretty cool if:

They only lit up with the dome light/on approach to the car, ie when you unlock the doors.

You use a white LED instead of a cheesey blue.

With that said it would be a nice mod that I would like to see pics of if you go ahead with it.

 

could u do it so that the led faces down and illuminates the floor like the new bmw 7 series. when you unlock the car, there is an led in every handle that lights up the floor, looks pretty good.
