Alright, so I got a pair of 03/04 g35 sedan HID headlights. Everything was in working condition and I got them done up by Chris (g35papa) over in Cali. They came out GREAT. He painted them flat black and cleared out the turn signals. Couldn't be happier. Anyway... I've been having a problem with these headlights smoking inside the lense! I don't know WHAT is going on. I replaced the fog bulbs with luminics jdm H4 bulbs last week and they ran EXTREMLY hot and I saw the smoke, so I opted for some better bulbs and got some PIAA 2500k H4 bulbs. Same thing... the headlights still smoke up when they are on and get heated up. My hands/body NEVER came in contact with any bulbs, as I made sure of that. I don't know what else it could possibly be! The only thing I can think of is the headlight bulbs are bad from the previous owner or bad ballasts or something. I have no idea. Anyone got any suggestions? I hope someone has an answer quick. I am terrified to drive at night as use the lights! Thanks in advance for any ideas/comments/opinions. PLEASE HELP!
