55 watt hid questions

hey all-
i did a search on the 55 watt hid kits on the forums and nothing really came up besides one thread about a guy asking everyones opinions on them but with no real replies. so i was just wandering if anyone has:
1. tried the 55w hid kit
2. compared the difference in light output 55 watt versus 35 watt
3. knows where i should buy them for the cheapest amount of $$$ and how much they are
i would prefer answers regarding the 5000k bulbs because that is what i would like to end up with and also what gives the most light output but any input or comments or complaints (lol!) would be greatly appreciated!

You won't find 50 watt bulbs in 5000K, all aftermarket kits are overdriven 35 watt bulbs. This means it runs hotter than stock or when a DL50 is used, it will burn the chrome off your projector insides.

hey i have an 03 g sedan. the manual says it takes 55 watt halogens. does that mean i should get the 55 watt hid conversion kit, or should i use the 35 watt? I heard that the 55w kit burns hotter, and i just dont want to mess anything up.
