Smile Good HID kit BRAND ?

Hi guys, I know this is a G35 forum but i believe HID Kits are all the same for all kinda cars .
My gf has a Matrix with Halogen , i drove yesterday at night for the 1st time , and I couldn't see S***.

I was looking for an HID kit but then I found a lot and prices vary from 50 to 150.

do you guys have any ideia of what brand should I buy for her car?
but the best bang for the buck.

thanks =)

I highly recommend NOT installing an HID kit in a halogen reflector housing. It WILL cause alot of glare and blind other drivers, and IS a safety hazard.

I would suggest you retrofit some projectors into her car. It'll obviously cost more than a so-called 'kit', but it will be far more reliable, put out MUCH more light, and be courteous to others.

Stock uncoated halogen bulbs have the best output

There is no such thing as better bulbs if you are actually concerned with performance, if all you care about is color, then any bulb will do, they all suck IMO

actually what im looking for its not for my G, its for my gf's Matrix =p
She doesnt have OEM HID, thats why I was gonna buy the HID KIT.
But a i've been advised that this so callde HID Kit is not good because it blinds other drivers and I will need to get a Hid Retrofit Kit, thats expensive and a lot of work. I just wanted to get better illumination. If I get those White bulbs (4300K or 6000K) for the Headlights and Fog Lights Will she have better performance?

Thanks =)

Projector retro is the best idea.

Aftermarket HID kits in reflector llights create too much glare.

Your G already has HIDs... although not projectors.

Retrofitting is not a kit, its custom fabbing yourself

It's a lot easier than it sounds... HIDplanet could be a good resource for you.

For halogen headlights... there's nothing you can do to make it brighter. All aftermarket halogen bulbs are gonna die out on you in a very short time and usually if you see the bulbs in blue...they are tinted...what does tint do? it blocks off light. Putting HIDs in the headlights would cause glare. That's really up to you if you want to do that or not... not safe but yeah.
