I just installed the 06 projectors on my 04. On my old lamps the turn signal/front marker lights were always on. On the 06 lamps they are not always on but operate normally as turn signals. The H1 lights below the HID's are always on though at a lower brightness until you turn on the fogs. I'm thinking that the fogs are supposed to be operating as my front marker lamps on the 06 lamps but I'm not sure. What is normal for the 06's? I don't want to get pulled over or something for not have front marker lamps.

 

yeah...everything you described is normal on an 06'

 

your h1 fogs should not be on unless you turn them on. your citylights should only be on when you have your parking lights on. there are four bulbs in your 06 lights. the d2s projector bulb, h1 fog light bulb, you turn signal bulb and a 194 citylight bulb.

 

Thanks for the replies. I just checked closer and I was wrong, the H1's are not on, it's the 194 city lights that were the ones on like you described. I guess I had never noticed a car that didn't use the turn signal bulb as the front marker so that is what made me question it.
