MTEC Fogs - 2X & 4X Versions

I am looking to replace my fogs (for color reasons), and the MTEC Super Whites look to be a good option. I looked at them at autospeedy.com and a couple other places. When I looked at eBay I found listings for 2X (60/55W=130/110W) and 4X (100/80W=170/150W). All of the bulbs @ the other websites were the 2X version.

Are the 4X going to draw too much power? Should I stick with the 2X? Anyone purchased these from eBay?

I actually ordered my MTEC from some shop in CA. I have the 2X I believe and they are bright enough for me. If you do a search for foglights alot of people have changed them with many different brands. I personally like the MTEC's!

I'd just stick w/ the 2X just to be on the safe/conservative side.

With the 4X, you'll probably need an aftermarket wiring harness because of the extra current draw. Even then, I'd worry about the extra heat doing some damage to the reflectors.
