First off, i did do a search but no answers were found sooo....

I wanna know can u use 03-05 headlights assy and take them apart and used the 06 projectors and cover w/o any issue of putting them back into the 03-05 shell? if this has been done can some one direct me to a link?

No, the projectors are built into the housing the only things you would be able use off of the 03 style is the lenses and ballasts.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have a set of both and want to change the lens from the 06 with the 03's.

not easily done, and the lenses aren't easily swappable either, the bezel mounts differently in both IIRC

fyi bezels have the same mounts they screw into the lenses and also lenses were same fitment just got done swapping my headlights to projectors and swapping the lenses over yesterday. btw it was a major pita not worth it imo.
