If you have to aim them down so far that it won't glare, won't that severly cut down the distance the hid beam will throw?

no because the hids are such a difference from halogens that even aiming them down is still an improvement, i had hids in my prelude for almost two years and was never flashed once because i followed another prelude owners advice and steps to aim them properly and it was perfectly fine, i got more light and i drove behind and in front of all my friends just to make sure and they told me they looked like normal headlights

Glare isn't an issue anyway. They are in the high beams and fogs, which shouldn't be on with on coming traffic anyway.

got my kit today, ive got work at 4 so im going to put them in and readjust my headlights and take pictures

this is my second day driving with them and last nite i drove with them on in the city to see if there really was a lot of glare but not one person out of the 200 people i drove past including multiple cops flashed they're brights at me. Im not saying there isn't any glare im just saying its not enough to bother anybody, theres your pictures janik, 8k up top and 5k fogs

hell ya man! lol i cant decide if i want to switch my headlights out for 5ks now too but we will see, ive got my rims to paint, bb grounding kit, and my spacer before i will have extra money for other stuff

Yea. I might switch out my headlights to 6k, and get 5k hids. Those look badass.

ill just find another member to do it, if i do HID's in the fogs ill do it the right way lol
