Thumbs down Headlight - Foglight Question

So I had an incident with the G before Christmas with someone turning left in front of me. Long story short I have a new front end but an issue with the one new headlight.

The foglight points above my xenons(or HID whatever they are), but the highbeam is at the right level. I know it's the same bulb so I'm not sure how that's even possible. I've searched but not finding much - any help is appreciated.

Thanks-
Lucas

Have you checked to make sure the bulb is seated correctly?

I have not had a chance to get in there, but I know what you're saying so I'll have to check that once work slows down. I certainly don't have time to take it to the body shop during biz hours and watch them futz around with it.

could be what Chris said. Make sure the bulb is seated properly. Also, a chance that is got misaligned during the accident. Which is a simple fix

It probably is the bulb thats not seated right.. there are tutorials on this site on how to level your beams.. but i have a question... how can u tell ur high beams are aiming lower than ur fogs.. arent your low beams the same light as the highs?

hgih beams are the fogs (lower part of the headlight so they are fogs and high beams) Top lights are just the headlights (only low beams). You can tell if they are not aimed correctly if it does not light up evenly on the ground correctly or causing too much glare

I agree with Papa, make sure it's in place. Otherwise it sounds like a bulb defect to me.

Yeah the top light is low beams, bottom is fogs and brights. Just pull up to a wall or garage door and you'll see where things are aimed. I'll check on that bulb seating - thanks guys.
