Projector Help

I'm looking at upgrading my 03 headlights. I have a set up 06 projectors that I plan to retrofit into my current set for high/low beam and I'm looking at finding another set for the fogs. Not sure what to go with? I think I need a Low beam only projector?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

When you say you have 06 projectors, do you mean just the projectors themselves or the entire 06+ G headlights?

I am assuming you must just have the projectors because if you had the entire headlights it would make more sense to start from there rather than bust them open to retro into your old 03 headlights.

So, to answer your question, you should go with s2k or TL or another set of G35 w/ clear lense. do a search on the lighting forum for the word "quad" and take a look at what other people have done to get ideas and go from there!

good luck! this project takes alot of time and thought

Oh and to clarify even more, you asked "I think I need a low beam projector?"

yea, you can go with just a low beam projector for your foglight area... this projector will basically just act as another light source that you can either aim lower (to act as a foglight, maybe install some 3k HID bulbs) or you can aim straight and install the same bulbs as your other light to just really up the light output.

your choice! but yea you just need low beam projector.

if you get a bi-xenon proj. for the bottom too though, you could have quad hi-beams!

see, there are many possibilities

I have a damaged set of 06 lights I got from e-bay for cheap, so I thought I would upgrade my 04's. I think I'll go with a low beam projector with 3k blulbs.

Thanks for the help

Most projectors are going to be Bi-Xenon. Basically the cutoff sheild in the projector moves down to allow more light to escape the projector housing. The Cutoff shield is pulled down by a solenoid, wich does not have to be hooked up if you decide to not do a Quad Bi-Xenon. You might as well though. It will be way more affective. You can use 3000k Bulbs in the lowers, and still have them with a high beam function for real inclimate weather.
