Changing license plate lights.

Hey, I just bought a 08' G35s. I was wondering has anyone tried to change the license plate light. Its yelow and i was wondering of making it LED white light. I was wondering if thats going to set any wrong codes, etc.

Nope, you will be fine. I actually just changed all my lights Saturday. Use the search feature and you will find TONS of information regarding this. It makes it look 100x better!

Congrats on the new purchase.

Not sure the actual bulbs that you'll need but once you figure it out, get them from superbrightleds.com. I have some from an "reputable" ebay seller and they died within 2 months. Then I bought some from superbrightleds.com and I have had them on for over 2 years.

yeah or if you have the $$ go with the Polargs from Jdiem. Brightest LED's ive seen for the License plate lights

ok so I need to order a LED light for the license playe by the size of 168... are all of the 168's going to fit?

I changed mine to white LED's from v-leds.com. Here is what I bought:

They look much better than the incandescent bulbs and are easy to change. They are pretty bright as well. v-leds.com has a bunch of other styles but I didn't see the point in spending any more money as the light only needs to shine down and not out to the sides and some of the bigger bulbs could have fitment issues.
