4300k is the OEM which does offer more light output than the 6000k. However 6000k looks much better IMO b/c it's more "whiter" w/o the hint of yellow.
Plus the light output lost is not going to be really noticeable. I'd go w/ the 6000k HID.

wow, the light output lost is def noticeable w/ 6000k... and more "whiter" ??? 6000k is much "bluer"..!
To the OP.... go 5000K!!! its the best

I'm looking more for light output and performance is the last thing. So 6000K is not going to work! 5000 would be sweet, it will be middle of 4300 and 6000k.
I;m going to place an order from either retrosolutionsllc or XenonDepot. Retrosolution offers 55W/lifetime warranty along with 35W. My car is currently running halogens which are 55W stock, so im guesing 55W HID wont heat up.
"55 watt HID that uses 55w bulbs still runs cooler than a 55w halogen bulb it generally replaces, to replace any other lower wattage halogen bulb we recommend 35w instead. So 35w or 55w, properly installed, stands less risk of melting housings than the bulb they replace"
However both compainese are well known, i'm leaning towards 55W just because of the light output, but just not sure if i should play it safe n get the 35W.
Sorry for the long post...

If you do most of your driving in the city where there is plenty of street light, 6000k will provide sufficient amount of light output for daily driving.Originally Posted by redlude97

Sufficient is not the same as noticeable. Halogens are sufficient as wellOriginally Posted by J2S2M

4300K or 5000K. 6000K is getting too blue imo. The most lumens (visable light output) you will get will be from 4300K bulbs.
So i ended up just placing an order with retro-solutions.com . The customer service was A+. I went with the 55W 5000K, The reason i decided against the 6K was cuz i want to keep my car close to stock.
I will post pictures soon as i get something
