putting in D2S in a reflector cup ?

I meant to buy D2R for my sedan's headlights but bought the wrong one. they just came in the mail today and they are D2S.

I know D2S are for projectors but what will it look like if i just stick them in my D2S reflector cups anway ?

what would be the problem other than glares to incoming traffics?

will my own visibility be affected ? ie "not as bright"

thank you

The key issue with running D2S in a D2R housing is the glare issue. You definitely don't want to be that jerk that blinds everyone in front of you and oncoming traffic.

As for your own visibility, it should be about the same. You will have additional glare so there will be more "light", however, that is not usable light.

There are slight differences in the base of the bulb so fitting it in might require modifications.
