06 Projectors - recalled or no?

So I found a really really good deal on 06 projectors, but the price is so damn good, I'm suspecting they may be the recalled ones. Is there any way I can tell if they are? I don't want to be installing unsafe things on my car, so I'd like to be certain if at all possible that the lights are good before I buy them.
Also, I was reading the FAQ on projector aiming, would the glare be corrected if I were to aim them properly even if they are the recalled type?

most likely they are recalled lights. Not all the recalled lights can be fixed by aiming, many require the headlights be taken apart and adjusted internally to fix the cutoff. Not an easy task by any means. just purchase new ones from riverside infiniti, they aren't that expensive

Well, at 525/ea USD + shipping + duties, they're not worth it to me, I have no problem with my stock headlights. These were being offered to me for $500 CAD cash for the pair, so needless to say, I was tempted. There's no way to check if they're the recalled kind? No part number in a certain range or anything like that? Cause I can inspect them to death before I give him the money.

I see that you're in Peabody, and am assuming you're taking your's to kelly infiniti?

They're pretty decent about mods, but then again, I dont really have anything serious on my car. I'd take the bulbs out, just in case they end up swapping the set for something else, or whatever. Better safe than sorry.

Besides, it takes a solid few mins to do the bulbs anyways.

Really? Looked like it was 525 PER headlight. I guess I'll check and confirm this, if it's 525 ea, then it's worth it.

06' projectors used to sell for $200 (a pair) like hot cakes on ebay for awhile when there was a huge supply of 'fixed' recalled lights but those are all bought up now for the most part ..... which is driving the price back up..... $700+bucks for these things is insaaaane!! ... Im glad i bought 4 sets when i did last year(spent $800 total)... and they look just as good as brand new 07' from the factory.
