So...??? Can fog/hi-beam lights be adjusted?
So...??? Can fog/hi-beam lights be adjusted?
Before I get flamed on for assuming I didn't search, trust me, I did. Could not come up with an answer to what I am sure is a simple question.
Can I adjust the fog light or hi-beam of my 04 coupe? I dont have 06 projectors, just regular 04 headlights.
Thanks.!!!

what do you mean adjust? Re-aim? ..... im not positive but im pretty sure the 04 reflector lights have the same mounting bolts for the xenon as the 06+ projectors ..... in which you tighten/loosen the bolts in the back with the light's housing when they are off the car .... I dont recommend it unless you absolutely have to... as for the fog/hi beam .... I dont think that is adjustable
I was hoping for an individual adjustment of them since I feel they are NOT working as they should. When I flick on the Hi-Beams, its more of a "scattered" effect of light as opposed to a direct effect. In other words, all I get out of my highs is brighter all around light, yet not a brighter view in front of me.
In my previous car, Lexus SC coupe, I would see X number of feet in directly front of me with regular beams on, but when I flicked the hi-beams, I could easily triple of not double that distance down the road. Not to mention a more than adequate "all-around" or "scattered" lighting increase in the overall picture of the windshield.
So anyways, this is why I figured I might need to adjust my hi-beams so that I could benefit from them in this sense. I do a lot of night time, desert driving on the interstates, so sometimes it gets pretty dark and could use an extra few feet of distant lighting on the road when I'm doing 80/90+mph.
So any help on this would be much appreciated... thanks!!!!
