Another problem...headlights!

NOW this one is my fault...i used Goof-Off to remove the sticky stuff left over from bat's overlays and this is what i got leftover....next time ill read the instructions first!!.....LOL!!!...it clearly states DO NOT use on certain plastics...............................wondering if anyone has a hookup on 06 projectors or just 03 left headlight?????.....

have you tried hitting it with a polish/wetsand/or plastX?

ima try some spray they use to remove **** off our blackhawk windows...hopefully that wrks..man does it look horrible!...LOL

Its going to take a lot of work, but you can reverse this.

1st use a rubbing compound to, in effect, sand the chemical stain off the top layer of plastic. Then you have to polish it with a plastic polish. Best done with a machine, not by hand, and avoid heat!

I believe you killed the film that provides UV protection to the plastic. You will have to repeat every now and then to avoid a haze now that this film is gone.

yea i need to get a buffer machine...LOL..BUT i think my headlights are done..cause i used the sandpaper/wax kit that u can buy..it didnt do anything but killed my fingers...LOL
