I can't stand the hint of orange that shows thru my clear signal area on my headlights. Was wondering if anyone here has actually used this bulb and can tell me how it looks.

if you do upgrade to leds, then make sure you get 6 ohm load resistors to prevent hyperblinking

LED's for clearance, parking/turn signal and sidemarkers

My LED bulbs were purchased from V-LED's. I wanted a uniform look so the LED's have a color temp of 6000K to match the HID's and the fogs.

The clearance bulbs are 4M-SMT HID White 194/168.
The side marker bulbs are 3M-SMT HID White 194/168.
The parking/turn signals bulbs are 27M-SMT HID White parking/Amber turn.
The Hi-beam/fogs are Luminics H4 Krypton Titanium White 5,500K.
The HID's are V-LED 2DR 6000K White with blue.

BTW I used a Dremel to remove that orange lens during my headlight painting project. Also used the Dremel to grind a larger diameter for the parking/turn signal opening for the LED 7443 to fit.

Still not finished with this project. I plan to add angel eyes to both HID's and Hi-Beam/Fogs, load resistors to cure the hyperblinking and a clear lens diffuser to repalce the yellow one I dremelled out.

sowrongitstan, looks nice, can you tell me what bulbs you are using for your turn signals?

also whats this load resistor thing and how do you install it? so if you install any type of LED bulb to your turn signals, it will blink fast?

i got these 15 led 7440 bulbs from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-74...Q5fAccessories

and yes any led you install on turn signals will blink fast because leds consume less power than filament bulbs which gives off the broken bulb signal
for the resistors i got 6 ohm load resistors from v-leds and they give instructions on how to install them on the website
http://v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning-Fix...83296-1-3.html

and heres a 15% off code from v-leds idk if it still works or not: bt2580

OP, have you removed the orange lens cover? It sounds like you did, but I wasn't sure.

V-leds.com used to have a nice bulb that was white when turned on, but blinked amber. I'm not seeing it on their site anymore.
