I don't think there are any aftermarket '06 projectors. All projectors are OEM.

I'm about to replace my '03s with '06-07 projectors (not even sure which one it came from).
I did alot of reading in many threads. It seems that it is fully plug in. Using the '06 bulbs is more optimal since they don't have shielding.
I only have 1 question.

- low/high beams: How does the car know that the low/high beam is now the HID light and not the fog light? Doesn't something need to be changed so the turning High beam on action trigger HID and not the fog light?

Thanks!

Can someone explain how it can be plug and play? How does the car know to engage the high HIDs for High if it was made to have the Fogs act as High?

I'm not sure how to technically explain how it works, but I just know that it does. And yes I have the projectors on my car and have no problems with them at all.

So currently are your High beams your projectors or the fogs?

Projectors, the D2S bulbs for the '06 projectors serve as both lows and highs.
