Pro and Con of smooth vs bump clear corners

i am slowing starting some simple mods on my coupe.

i was wondering what are the pros and cons (if any) between the smooth clear corners and bump clear corners.

pro for bump
1) people have mentioned that the bump allows viewers from the side of the car to see the light.
is this true without the blinker modification?

pro for smooth
1) makes the car lines smoother

what else are there that i may not know of?
is this purely a preference thing?

It might be all preference. I know my smooth clear corners can be seen from any angle since I have 30 LEDs in them. I also have a pair of the bumps that I think are cool too.

could someone clarify?
there must be a reason why Nissan JDM even made bump corners.
There must be something about these bumps else they would not have manufactured them........

the bump isn't all that noticeable in real life, imo. even w/ the standard bulb it comes w/, it's pretty damn bright and you can actually see it better at night.

I messed up when I ordered my bump ones from Riverside. I've gotten used to them. Originally wanted smooth ones. Both look good though.

I have both and I think the Bump makes it a little more visible from the front and rear. No real cons of either.

i have had/still have both. looks wise, i almost liked the cheapo flat ebay ones better but that may just be because the bulb was white and riverside gave me the jdm ones with an amber bulb. i still do like the sleek ones a bit better... but im staying jdm LOL

no big/noticeable difference light wise or anything imo

edit: oh i forgot though, the jdm ones must have given me at least 10whp so im definitely keeping them on
