Here's the link http://www.clearcorners.com/products/infiniti/G35a/h_lamp2/

The clearance lights look great. They need some daytime pics so you can see how black they are.

Re: New Black front head lights

hmmm lets see so it's about $900 (not including shipping of course) to send out your headlights (both of them i might add) for probably at least a couple weeks....to get them painted....something you could do by yourself...in like 6 hours.

umm how exactly would you plan on driving without headlights? i guess if you had another car it wouldnt be a problem but still -- thats a little too much and way too expensive.

i would say DIY and save the time and money. mygunit just painted his housing black but unfortunately about 4 days later his g burned down...what a sad day.. he said it really wasnt too hard though so i'm thinking of doing it myself soon.

Re: New Black front head lights

i think $200 would be a reasonable price IMO.
charging you 900 for your own pair of lights.......................
i guess lazy rich people would go for that.

Re: New Black front head lights

I agree, $900 would be too steep for me. And I'm the type that would likely buy a new set of lights to keep stock (for eventual sale of car) and to have in case these bit the dust... ...and to keep from being without headlights for so long. lol

One thing that I don't get: The clearance corner lenses are clear, with a white bulb, in some of the pics. When the clear lens/amber bulb of the turn signal is lit, those white corners seem have a tinge of amber.

I'm not sure if the cops around here would let the clear corners slide, even with amber bulbs. Depends on the individual officer, I suppose.

Who did you hear this from? What is so bad about it? If you don't have facts to back up your claim, please do not post it. It makes other people assume something that might not even be true. Don't mean to be a jackass, but I hate it when people say "I heard this, I heard that.."...

It's only bad if you don't seal them properly. Moisture will build up and you'll get condensation on the inside of the lens housing. Definitely a bad thing.

It's not that either...
These are not sealed units, vapour will disipate when the lights are on.

The seal is more to bond the units (hold) them together & keep out rain & wash water.

I guess it would evaporate with the headlights. I've had taillights have moisture build up b/c of a bad seal, but they don't get as hot.
