Exclamation Projector project......Feel free to help!

I got sucked into this idea one night and now since I bought the projectors, ballasts, and bulbs I have to finish it eventually . I just need some help, i have searched but nothing is really helping. I don't understand the solenoid on the bottom? I came into this with no knowledge other then it looks like a good project. If someone could please explain the solenoid , what it does, how to hook it up? What I have in my hands right now is

-extra headlight housing ( cheap ebay one )
-G35 Bi-Xenon HID OEM D2S
-55watt ballasts with d2s bulbs.

also I have 2 shrouds that fit like complete ****. So If anyone can point me to some good fitting ones please do

my current struggle....
these are the ebay headlights... not even close to fitting in. any ideas?

I will keep updating as I get further and get help from people. I will try to make a DIY once I figure it out myself for everyone

you should mount the projector to the bracket that holds the reflectors so you can still have adjustability. Unless you need the bixenon function, i would opt to use a projector that is easier to mount and smaller such as the tsx

so should I just cut it out on the reflector? then stick it through and try to use its adjustability in some way. And yeah too late now ahaha I would of got those if I had known what I do now.

I actually am in the process of putting some fx 35 projectors in my sedan. I cut out the reflector but left the 2 screw mounting points that the adjuster connects too. I looked for some tsx and some s2000 but couldnt find any at a decent price

oh hella custom brackets ahaha. Using shelf hinges seemed to work out pretty decent now i just have to figure out a good way to aim them properly. These lights are night and day compared to OEM. Those were terrible.

Once I finish i will post up more info and pictures.
