Damn! I hope you didn't scratch your fender

Looks good, I like the contrast b/w the yellow and the HID "blue." Any pics from the front? glare? Did you mod the housing for the fog hid wiring?

i scratched the fender a little but im not too worried about it, after my audio build i plan on getting a kit and painting the whole car. I have pics of the lighting from a couple of nights ago. they are much brighter in person. pictures dont do no justice for em. my bulbs are 8k but im switching them out for some 6k bulbs so the yellow HID shouldnt be overpowering the low beams. As far as modding the housing for the fog lights, i wish i took pictures to show u. What i did was cut the original wires leading through the round thing and rewired. i also cut the wires from the HID bulbs and pulled it through the round thing not too sure wat their called. all of the wiring i did was soldered, heat shrink tubed, electrical tape and wire loom for the finish. i got the slim ballast HID kit so i just mounted it right under the stock ballasts.

I was just going to ask you if you drilled a hole in the cover but nice job on the re-wire. Did you use resistors for the turn signal bulbs?

dang, the Fedex folks in Cali work late

Thanks for the pics. Did the H1 bulbs plug in and clip on without any issues?

I'm thinking about doing this mod cuz I have an a set of ballasts and a wiring harness to the battery lying around. I just need the H1 HID bulbs. Going for about $25 on ebay, which would cost me about as much for Nokya or Lumincs. I want to avoid these lights because they're yellow. I'm afraid there will be a yellow reflection in the fog light reflectors with the lights are turned off. The thing about the HIDs is i'm afraid of major glare for oncoming traffic. Looking at the picture of the garage door, looks like there is tad bit of glare above the cut off line of the low-beam. Do you have a pic of the lights from a few feet in front of the car? At about standing height? Sorry for being so picky, I appriciate your help.

No i didnt drill a whole, i didnt want to drill anything. Yes, i did use resistors for the signal bulbs because they're 39 amber LED's which use less watts which will make the turn signal blink very fast and i hate that.

there is a glare somewhat but nothing too serious for oncoming traffic. ill try and snap some photos for you tonight if i get the chance. i dont use the fog light often, only when its pitch black, but when i do use them, i love every second of it.
