HID kit recommendation?

Hello.
Im in the market for a HID kit for my fog lights(05 G35x). The size for the fog is h4/9003 and its bi-xenon. Im thinking about the 3000k color.
What do you guys recommend? What brand?
Im willing to spend no more than $150 total. Does it really matter on price? Ive seen cheap kits for 60$.

thanks guys.

The housing in the lower, fog light area is designed for halogen bulbs and will cause an unreasonable amount of glare to other drivers if you put in a HID kit without doing a proper projector retrofit.

For $150, I doubt a HID fog retrofit can be done, but have a look at some quality halogen bulbs. It won't be as cool, but it will be a bit cheaper, and you'll get close to the look you're going for.

^Higher K wont help his visibility problems. He loses output once you get past 5000k.

The housing of the HID low beam are reflectors too. The 05 sedan dont have projectors on the stock HID. The low beam and the fog/high beam are very simlar in design and both reflectors. Would HID in the fog cause alot of glare?

Projector retro is by far the best way to go. More light on the road, no reflections that bother other drivers and cool looking too!

putting a HID into the high/fog is a bad idea. trust me... I have one and never use it, it has way too much glare and the aiming is off, it shines high and far like a highbeam. it's bright as hell but points up. save your money don't get it.

even though the top reflectors has HID and no projectors, the reflectors are designed to reflect the light given off by the HID bulb to a straight line. so putting halogen bulbs at the top HID reflectors will cause glare.

the bottom reflectors are designed to reflect halogen light. so it will cause glare if you put in a HID bulb. glare as in high beam 24/7. either change to a really good halogen bulb or go retrofit.

i see those civics with HIDs blinding everyone on the road. you dont want to look like them do you?

Is there a way to put HiD in the fog/high beam, and aim the light down towards the floor?
wouldnt that cause less glare?

I have h4 in stock with 3k as low and halogen as high beam. Works like a charm
also, it depends on the reflector shield on the bulb
I've been in the hid business for couple years and had seem many different H4
Currently the best ones are the ones with reflector shield on the bulb (just like a D2R bulb)
All others produce a lot of glare

Do NOT put telescopic bi-xenon hid on g35 03-05 headlight
