Fog Lights Still DULL Yellow
So i was trying to get away from those dull yellow nasty fog lights and put some 8000k bulbs in there. So when switch the bulbs out, and have the 8000ks installed, they still show DULL yellow...same color as they were when they were stock. This is the second pair I have tried and nothing seems to change. Is there something else i need to do in order to get rid of that dull yellowish light, i know the bulbs are legit, so it cant be an issue with the bulbs??? 2006 coupe (btw)
any help is greatly appreciated!!

I want to the light to NOT be yellow (i want it to match the 8000k headlight bulbs). the actual light is yellowish still (even though i put in 8000k xenon (white/blueish color), cause when you look at the headlight, everything is chrome so im not sure if there is like some sort of yellow foil inside the fog lights somewhere that makes any color bulb still show the same stock yellow color...is that making any more sense? haha sorry its kind of hard to explain..

^^Good idea! here are some pics,
The first one is with just the headlight on, the fog light is off..
This one both the headlights and the fog lights are on, and as you can see, even with an 8000k bright white bulb installed it is the same color as the stock bulb...
And this one is just a close up with no lights on, there is no yellow hint anywhere, all chrome, so i dont know where that color is coming from..

Sylvania SilverStar H1 ST Fog Lights
If color is what you're after, then go with PIAA, Luminics, Halo, or Nokya.

yeah thanks for the help everyone....and sorry, they arent sylvania silverstars, those were the ones i just replaced with new 8000k bulbs i got off ebay (8000k Platin Xenon Plasma Blue Bulbs, not sure how reputable these are but they were only $10 haha)...maybe they are just cheap bulbs, but thats two aftermarket bulbs i have tried using in the fog lights and both ended up looking same as stock....

I'd stick with Raybrig if you're looking to match HIDs. PIAAs always look good too.
If you're looking for any crappy white, blue, purple or yellow, Luminics, Nokya or Polarg will do just fine.

Did you replace the peanut bulb (194 bulb in the upper left area of the picture) also? There are 2 bulbs inside the fog light housing...the little bulb and the fog light. In the pictures with the lights on, your fog lights look really dim if they are actually even on. My guess is that you just need to replace that small bulb also
