Help! Water inside headlight! HID Ballast fried?
Help! Water inside headlight! HID Ballast fried?
Its been raining in my area for the past few days and yesterday my passenger side headlight stopped working. I decided to replace the HID bulb thinking the bulb went out and as soon as I pulled back the plastic fender liner, I noticed that the plastic cap behind the ballast was open and filled with water.
This is what I'm talking about.

I inspected the bulb and the ballast and there was no water present. I tried switching the bulb anyways and it still isn't lighting up. My LED, Fog, and Turn signals still work even though there was condensation inside the headlight.
I figure I probably need to replace the ballast but I would rather ask for peoples opinions first. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
