i want leds under the hood

i want leds under the hood

any1 install leds under the hood to illuminate the engine bay during car shows and whatnot? it just feels to black in there when i pop the hood at night meets

Just keep them somewhere were they won't be exposed to overwhelming heat. Heat drastically shortens the life of LEDs.

the thing is that leds inside the hood dont last long

i was thinking somethink like monted under the hood itself but idk where the wires would run to or what i would use as the leds lol
