I'll take some more pics in abit The paint I used is Dupli-Color Chrome spray paint. I bought it at Parts Source, but any place that carries dupli-color should have it. Try Advanced Auto Parts. It's pretty flat, almost satin. I like it and it'll due for the time being. I'll probably change it up when I do LEDs next winter.

I originally was going to use 3" lenses that I got from the Retrofit Source but now I'm using the 2.5" OEM lenses. You should be able to get either size from them, they might even have some OEM ones laying around.

So I'm somewhat closer to having them finished. I had to wire up the DRL's again and I was making it way harder than it needed to be. I also have to extend the wires for the lower projector harness to keep them out of site. Wish I had thought about that when I was doing my tuck lol. I also decided to scrap the G35 shrouds and should have new ones tomorrow hopefully. I think I know how I'm going to mount them but I won't know for sure until I have them. I ordered the E46 extendeds from TRFS, has anyone ever used these before? Here's a pic of one being tested I'll get a better one in a couple days.

So the shrouds came in the other day. I finished doing the new mount for my passenger side projector and also fit the shroud. Doing the shroud has probably been the worst part so far. It's mainly just a lot of taking bit by bit off until you can fit it. I'm going to get the turn signal lens in later today and maybe even seal it. It probably makes more sense for me to mount and aim them before I seal them so I might hold off on that for now. I'm going to keep the OEM chrome for now, might change it up when I do LEDs in the winter. Anyways, here's some crappy cell pics for now.

how difficult was the lens swap, been thinking about ordering clear lenses and using the oem for the turn signals...if you have any input on changing the signals i'd appreciate it

It's pretty easy. There's so many ways that you can fit the 2.5" into the bezel. You could glue it in, JB weld it, make a lens holder, etc. I personally used hot glue on small sections of it to hold it in place while the JB weld cured. I'm going to make a lens holder when I open them back up to do LEDs.

I finished aiming them and sealed the passenger one up. I was just about finished cutting my shroud for the driver side when my rotary tool died. So now that's the only thing holding me back. When I finally thought I was almost done, I have another setback haha. I should have a new one tomorrow so I might be able to have it sealed it up on Tuesday

You have to take the lens holder off. You'll see 4 parts where it's pushed it to clamp it around the projector. Pry those back and slide the holder off.

I scraped them because I didn't like how it would fill the hole up. The E46s worked much better but I'd like to try some E55 shrouds in the future. No pics of the tapped solenoid but it's very easy to do.
