H1 bulb or D2R bulbs.

Any way to tell if my 03 Sedan has H1 or D2R bulbs without removing the bulb. It's a doggy door 03 with the sports suspension if that makes a difference.

Good place to start: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

If your upper lights emit a light blueish color they are probably HID.

Lightbulb

If you have a doggy door that means you have a 2003.0. 2003.0's come with halogen headlights so your stock bulb should be H1.

Someone said the actual headlamp lens will have either D2R or H1 molded into it.

So look around on your lens

That is correct, it is usually on the bottom of the lens.

Word my 03 came with factory HID. Just flick your lights on and see if they light up right away or if they take a little to warm up (gradually get brighter). If they come on right away they're halogen and if they take a little to warm up they're HID, hope that helps.
