2 days ago i went through a puddle that was much deeper then i thought it was and water came over the hood, later that day when i got home i realized that my passenger side head light was out, I went to the stealership earlier today to see they could narrow it down if it was the ballest that blew or the bulb its self, and before i take my car in fr them to charge 125 to tell me whats wrong i was wondering if you guys had any insights or ideas. on which it is, and if it is the ballest would it just be cheaper to switch to the 06 projectors? I've got an 04 coupe

 

my passenger side headlight would go out every once in a while .

. but all id have to do is turn off then back on and it would turn on ..

not anymore ..

i just had my passenger side bulb go out wednesday .. will not turn on at all ..

got a friend to lend me a set of oem's ..

took off bumper & swapped out bulbs and still nothing ..


in your case i think its the ballast .. cuz the bulb wont get wet its sealed ..


could the ballast blow the bulb whene it got wet .. that i dont know ..
i guess youl have to look at the bulb . to see if its blown ..

 

switch the bulb that is working onto the one that is not and if doesnt work then its the ballast. If the bulb works then its the bulb. I would get the projectors definitley.

now if its the bulb then I have a set of 8000k hid bulbs D2C that are compatible with D2R.
