I cannot stand the orange bulb for my blinkers in my headlights. Was curious if they make LED bulbs for your blinker. I believe its a 7440 single filament is the size i need.

Yes, they do. However, you will need to use a resistor to prevent hyper blinking.

calvin, i don't mind the hyper blinking... it's just an excuse for me being lazy to figure out what resistor to get and how to fix it.

but can you recommend me some good brands for LEDs for the turn signals?

For the resistor, you just need to something close to what the regular bulb was rated for. For example, if the original bulb was 12W, then a gross approximation for resistor would be P=V^2/R 12V = 12*12/R Solve for R.

Also, you can get LED blinker relays and do away with the resistors altogether.

I think some people recommended Vleds for a good blinker alternative. Not sure what the reliability is on them though.

I was going to replace my blinkers as well, but right now it means removing my Vortech SC / Air Intake to get access and its just not worth doing right now.

I have these

in the front turn signals of my 2003.5 Sedan. Not as bright as the bulb, but bright enough. Had to put in a load resister to avoid the hyperblinking.

An easy upgrade if you don't feel like opening up the headlights for a custom setup.
