So just how RICE is lighting up your intercooler with LEDs???
Not where you can see the LEDs, but having some sort of accent lighting . . .

 

Pretty ricey if you are trying to call the attention that you have FI or an interfooler.

 

The list of mods you have in your sig makes me cry that you are asking this question. Spend it on some headlight projects or leds that are useful, not to show off an intercooler....

 

As long as you don't drive with them, then you're a loser.

If you're at a meet or something, they are alright. The rotor LEDs are also kinda cool AT MEETS.

I was thinking more along the line of quad projectors and stuff that helps. Even Halos made up of a bunch of small leds would be cool and different. Anyways each his own, just my opinion that lighting up the intercooler is very ricey.

 

Jtan did it so that should tell you right there.

 

i think.... if you had very dim leds right above the intercooler, and you couldnt see the led strip...and if barely lite it up...it could look good..possibly... it could be more of a tease...

But I haven't seen anything on the forums to match what I'm trying to explain. If done right, it has potential

edit: maybe not an led strip, but just a small light on top, like those lights on top of license plates...but even more dim lol

 

On an NCCA showcar, YES
On any other vehicle, NO... FAIL!
