I am pretty sure you can take a flat head and just pop out that plastic piece that is over the light. I know you can do that for most lights in our car including the dome. I have yet to do the door lights.

correct, no need to remove the door panel. Just remove the plastic lens covering the bulb.

+1 to the advice already said. I find it feels like they are going to break but they won't. Just force a flat head behind the non-curved part and force it downwards. It only has about 2-3 inches of wire room so you'll have to be tricky in your replacement. The bulbs are hot too so pop them out with the screwdriver or something don't short the fuse tho!

What happens if you short the fuse though? Any idea where it might be located because I might of done that a few days ago .

For the step lights or the lights under the door.

Already checked both, but there's no fuse listed on the sticker that says anything about step lights.

Hmm I'm not sure because all the other lights work and both terminals tested positive, but the lights just won't turn on for some reason.

I found this article

http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...=81&linkid=529

says If the courtesy lamps still don’t work: the BCM is OK and this bulletin does not apply. See the “LT
Lighting System” section in the “K Electrical” chapter of the 2003 G35 ESM for more diagnostic
information.

But I can't find the 03 G35 ESM

It could be the BCM, but it's only the step lights that aren't working and not sure what I could do to fix it without getting the whole thing replaced.

Any idea where the BCM is located?

did you try flipping the bulbs around? Some are polarized.

I have heard some members say they have run into same issue with the bulbs not working. Someone recommended to disconnect battery and then reconnect it and they will work again.

Tried that too where you disconnect the negative or positive terminal of the battery for a few mins to like reset everything. Lights still dead :/. Is there a difference to which one you disconnect?
