What k value did you order?

I went with 6k, but I almost ordered the 5k and 8k as well just to see. I am indecisive.

Agree 100%. I bought 6K and they are a tad more blue than I would like, but still well within the relm of good light output vs color temp. I would never recomend anything above 6k.

Got my bulbs today. They look like quality bulbs....def don't look cheap. Even the casing they come in is cool....will def protect the stock bulbs after I remove them.

Makes you wonder what their margins are to sell these bulbs for 12 bucks. Gotta be made in china....the only way

Well, I installed my 6k bulbs before the weekend....few days of driving on them.

My impression? Don't really like them.

I mean they look cool and all, have a slight tinge of blue and look bright.... But they are DIM. I don't mean actual light output, but as in my ability to see. My first impression was "are my headlights even on?"

I'll give it a few more days, but I might order a 5k kit and see how that looks.

Appearance is one thing....but if I can't see what's the point?

^ So you are saying the light output is good, but due to the color you can't see the road as well?

my 6k's are horribly bright and i love it. I can see at least a mile down the road on low beams...everything that can have a reflection is lit up!

Exactly. They are bright and light everything up, signs down the road light up bright and everything and my driveway looks like a sports stadium....

But, i've lost a lot of detail due to the color. Driving down a road i always drive down that has a raised mahole i always avoid...well, now it's a bit tougher to spot. They are bright, but details are harder to make out. I pulled next to a g35 with stock hids and noticed that it's color made things far more visible directly in front of it, vs with my "cooler looking" lights.

I knew this would happen, but didn't think it would be this noticeable. Gonna order 5k today sand give that a shot.

Hey could you please send me the link for where you bought your bulbs from?

I just got my G35, which is almost identical to yours, and I wanted to change the bulbs.

Also, what kinds of bulbs does a stock G35 come with? Will I notice a huge difference between stock and 6000K?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
