The current interior lighting setup in my 04 coupe is blue. My dash is blue. Im about to match the AC lights above the dash with a similar blue tint. All I have to do now in order to have matching colors is the gear light indicators. The seat warmer switches are in the process, just waiting on the LED's to arrive. Actually.. I have something that may be a little off topic that has been talked about for awhile. My factory bose 6 in dash cd changer is starting to act funny so im gonna replace it soon with a double din unit. I hear you have to replace your AC controls due to fitting issues. I REALLY dont want to replace my AC controls so im gonna find an alternative. Customize if I have to. When I have the double din unit and begin the install ill post up my trial & errors and hopefully a solution to replcaing the entire AC control. I read awhile back that someone on here successfully did it.. but its been awhile since I read it.

Replacing that bulb with a single LED doesnt look good . It creates a hot spot over D and P and R will be barely visible . I make custom fit led boards for the shifter lights .Also like said above cut the wires . I use quick connect connectors so it can unplug and console is still removable .

04coupe actually sent me a few of his left over LED's. Really, once you get the switch apart you can see how much room you have to work with and could probably run to Radioshack or order some online that would fit in there. I wish I'd gotten smaller resistors for mine because I had the big ones so I had to bend them to make them fit in the small area allocated inside the switch.

How did you get all your dashboard lights and everything the color blue? Looks very nice! All mine are orange... Did you do the gear shift led install yourself? I'm in Weehawken, NJ and need this done to mine.
Thanks!

Olivia
