I recently went out to close the windows prior to a storm and left the radio on in the car. By morning it wasn't completely dead but it needed to be charged to get it started.

After getting the car started none of the interiors work any longer. This includes the map lights, the door lights or the visor lights. Everything else is working fine and all of the fuses are ok.

Is there a chip somewhere that controls when the interiors go on and off? This is for a 2003 coupe.

 

I looked at 06 coupe drawings and the BCM Body Control Module runs the lights. There are several fuses associated with this. The '03 is probably somewhat similar. There are differences depending on VIN#, and intelligent key, you should get yourseld a service manual for your car and dig in.

 

Thanks for taking a look. I tried disconnecting the battery last night and all the lights are back to normal. I guess it reset the BCM to bring back the factory settings.
