You are right, they are not included. Unless it says they are included. If you order them straight from infiniti they come without the ballast and ignitor.

 

Success! I took out the igniter harness from the old lamps and put them in the new ones and it works. I saw that yellow ground wire. I just unclipped it from the harness. Now I'm going to put my 04 lamps on sale.

This time I took off the whole bumper because I couldn't put it on properly last time. The steps are the same as the DIY except you jack up your car and take out the underbody panel and the fender liners. I used a power tool so it was quick to screw/unscrew. So when you take off the whole bumper (instead of tilting it) you don't have to put the painters tape on the fender because you pull it straight out. It's also easy to take the headlamp out.

NEVER use tape on the fenders . It gives no protection from the bumper scratching it . Always use towels over the ends of the bumpers .

 

I had lots of problems because my coupe is Canadian so i took em out and put in 06 U.S coupe headlights... Was a big pain in the a*s ... But it was worth it at the end of the day

 

The first time it was a pain for me because I had to look for the 2 screws inside the fender. I couldn't move the fender liner out of the way. I decided to jack up the car and take out the fender liner, but I couldn't find the bar to pump the jack. I looked for it for about an hour and just decided to do without it. The second time around it was much quicker because I knew exactly where the screws were.

The projectors make my car look up-to-date. But I'm a little disappointed because the bulbs are still 4300k. I wish they would've upgraded the bulbs to 6000k like the BMWs and Acuras.
