'06 Projector/Fog HIDS Questions

Hey everyone. This is my first thread on driver. I used to have a TL so I am coming from Acurazine. I already did research but just wanted some input from you guys.

I just bought a '06 G35 and already bought clear side markers and wanted to change up my HIDs. I like messing with lights.

I decided to go with 6k HIDs since the stock color is too dull and 8k is just a bit too blue for me even though its really nice. I just don't want to attract that much attention and lose that much light output.

Does anyone here have any suggestions on where to get some nice bulbs? I used to have HIDextra 6k bulbs on my TL but want something of higher quality that I could also get a good deal on. I found some Philips AX-6 6k bulbs for around $80. If you guys have any suggestions on anywhere to get good quality bulbs for a decent price, please do tell.

I also want to do a HID fog conversion soon and wanted to know if just a 35w H1 kit will work. I searched and saw that some people had to do some modding to make the HID fogs work properly and some said it was just a simple plug and play. There is a deal on HIDextra right now. $40 for an H1 kit that includes 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs. Seems like a good deal. Nobody mentioned these but I just wanted to make sure if I will need a warning canceler or a relay wire too?

Here is a pic of the car:

Also, this is off topic but did anyone ever have trouble removing the rear license plate? When the guy gave me the car, he couldn't take off his rear plate because the screws were stripped. I think the bolt is messed up so no matter how many times you turn, it will not come out but just keep turning. He ended up ripping his plate into 3 pieces to take it off. Does anyone have a solution to get the screws off or should I just bring it to a mechanic and have them do it for me. I'm just afraid of getting pulled over since there are tints on the car and I doubt the plate will show if i put it on the rear windshield.

DDM kits are cheap and have lifetime warranty. I would go with them.

so I take it your running the 06 (projector) housing correct?
umm how was the install on the fog HID kit? was there any wire splicing involved? or was the kit from DDM tuning a complete plug and play kit?
