can anyone tell me the easiest way to do this?? do i have to take the whole tail light out?

 

no u dont but would probably make the job alot easier but i jus unscrewed all the bolts and pulled out wat i needed to to get to the light socket

 

^^^hes confusing me now... LOL i think punctuations would help but to answer the OP quesiton.

yes... remove the lining in your tunk to get to the three bolts the hold your tail light in place. remove those and you'll see where the sidemarker socket is.

 

So wait...you can see the socket right after you remove the liner? That's confusing...you dont need to remove the whole tail light??
