For the install of the wires going from the ballast to the HID bulb - I didn't want to drill because of the size of the plugs that go to the bulbs themselves (maybe it was just my kit, but it's a larger plug than necessary, imo and I didn't want that big a hole to possibly short anything out with water, etc.). Instead I trimmed one of the 4 locating tabs on the stock cover (the round black plastic piece that covers up that hole and has factory wires already running through it). I then placed the new wiring into the slot I created by removing that tab and turned it into place. Worked like a charm and probably seals about well as you're going to get without going too crazy.

Also, I guess I'm in the minority but I went with 6k lights on my projectors (factory ballast) and 3k HID fogs and couldn't be happier. The yellow of the HID fogs definitely overpowers the projector headlights, but when it's foggy out (and is often enough here in the mornings) that's what I want. Nothing's worse than driving to work at 5am hungover and blind... now I'm only hungover

I have the 06 coupe and just ordered a kit for the conversion and decided to go with the 4300K does anyone know if it's gonna somewhat match the OEM projector lights or is it going to be completely off? Should I just go with the 8000K and 6000K fog. I still can update my order. Any input would be a huge help. Thanks.

Heres what I got + the HYLUX ballast
