Can you run HID on the high beam/fog light?

I already have 8k HID on my normal low beam/driving light. I have an '04 coupe with upgraded projectors '06 '07. my high beam is yellow like %^&* and I want it to be either bright white or HID if possible? I've seen some Gs that have high beam/fog light that is white...

anyone have done this? if so where can i get the kit? Thanks very mucho!

If you have 06/7 projectors then the bulb will be different then the 03-05. The 03-05 use the H4 as their high beam, which light up from the fog light area. The 06/7 use a bi-xenon bulb for low and high beam. Anyone correct me if im wrong..

The only thing I can think of is that the bulb is going bad.. idk..

And if you want an HID high beam just keep in mind that the HID takes time to fully brighten up so you wouldnt be able to flash somene if need be..

I've done it before, took it out though- not too keen on blinding other people without utilizing projectors.

I've done it on both headlights.
For 03-05 I had d2r 6k on lows and h4 3k with halogen high beam. I don't like the bixenons

Then I upgraded to 06-07 headlamps and now running d2s 6k lows and h1 3000k hid kit on fogs.

One thing that doesn't make sense is that of you had upgraded your headlamps to 06-07. Why are you asking about high/fog?

^ You state that you upgraded to 06-07 projectors... yet down below, you post the link to the headlights you bought which are not the 06-07 projectors. They're the ****ty aftermarket headlights.

When you supposedly stated earlier that you bought 06-07 projectors... those headlights are H1 for foglights. You wrote that you bought H4 bulbs. H4 bulbs are for the older G35 headlights.

these are not 06-07 projectors that you said you swapped to.
This is why you're having problems with your headlights. You made this thread sound like it was for the OEM projector headlights which everyone was trying to help in because there shouldn't be any problems with those. With the aftermarket projectors, there's gonna be problems.

It's funny how you called them sh*tty after market headlights because I was actually considering to get them but not so much anymore seeing as how people don't like them lol.

Anyway, what option do I have for my '04 G35 sedan if I want to upgrade to projectors?? I really don't want to open up my headlights and retrofit projectors into it. I would like to buy it as a whole with projectors already in the headlights.
