LED Interior Lighting question...

OK, I changed out my interior lights for LED... Though there seems to be a problem. Was wondering if anyone else has seen this.

I have a 04 sedan. I replaced the "Map lights", The "Rear side personal lights", and the "Step/courtesy lights" I will have to say they look great!!! Here's the problem...

The "Map Lights" glow (not fully on, can barely see them) when the "door" is selected on the switch. If I switch the switch to OFF they are off. But with the doors closed, and the switch in "DOOR" they should also be off. All doors were shut, and if I put the old school bulbs back in, the lights work as advertised.

Has anyone seen this? Know a fix? Kind of lame to have to manually switch the lights on and off.

Well don't actually know what the issue was, somehow I fixed it today. For most part all I did was remove the cover, push the ON/OFF switch a few times, and they quite "glowing". Now working as advertised.

Because LEDs use so little wattage that even if you don't have them "on" they will still barely glow. It's normal so don't sweat it.

Got a reply back from iJDMtoy dot com, where I bought them.

They say:

You will need a 1/8W 10kW Ohm resistor, you will just need to tap it from the positive to the negative portion of the bulb. That should fix the problem.
