I ordered door lights and map lights and couldnt find a thread explaining how to install them. can anyone give me advice or tell me how

 

Just have to pop off the plastic covers and replace the bulbs. It really is that simple. If you bought LEDs remember they only work when installed one way So if you put them in and they don't work just spin them around and you should be good.

 

the door lights took me awhile to pop off...map lights are super easy. i have no idea how to replace the courtesy lights though.

I was trying to pop off the door panel, but feels like I'm tugging to hard. I haven't really had to tug real hard to pop off a door panel, so I'm a little worried.

 

i heard the courtesy lights are supposed to be plug and play? Has anyone changed them and been successful? I was thinking of doing the same thing

 

We do custom retrofits on them to make them really bright as well as the red reflector but as for the question to remove the courtesy light housing we simply pop just the bottom of the door panel to reach your hand in and push out the housing )housing is just lightly force fit on by 2 tabs horizontally ). It takes about 15 seconds and pops out with no effort at all . They have a plug connector but it is a really short harness so you gotta just get a little flat head on the clip and pull out . All in all its very simple
