Just got in all my wedge led bulbs in. I put in the ones in my clear corners. They work fine. Put in my map lights they work fine. Go to put in one of the courtesy lights and the crappy solder on the bulb breaks. So I am like ok I will just resolder it. Go and look and now neither courtesy light nor the map lights work with either the new or old bulbs. Checked all fuses and none were blown. Any idea of what happened?

you sure you checked all the fuses? there are 2 fuse boxes.

 

Yesssir. Check one by the dead petal and one by the battery. Took out all the fuses that can be taken out with a puller. Anyone know the exact fuse that goes to them though? I'll replace it just in case.

 

i think theres 2 inside the engine compartment. onces in front of the battery ones behind it. iirc all the lights are on the one behind it.

 

Ah I always forget that one since I can't see it because of my damn huge battery lol. I'll give that one a check in the morning. Thanks guys

 

Well just literally checked every single fuse in the car and none are blown. Checked all three fuse boxes. I am stumped. It is only the map/dome lights and the courtesy lights in the door. Everything else works.

No one has an idea? Did I fry something? Just so odd they don't work and all the fuses are good.

 

I got it. Reset the BCM and they work again =)
