I have seen a few posts regarding Side Marker Light issues...

but mine might just be unique. Here is my situation:

- I decided to change out my stock Side Marker lenses.
- Found that neither one of the side markers worked.
- I thought that maybe a fuse was blown but didn't have the time to go looking around so I got new bulbs.
- Changed out my bulbs and found the right side worked but the left side did not.
- Took left bulb out and checked it in the right side which worked: The bulb worked.
- Then I considered the Side Marker bulb housing, where the bulb gets its power so I moved it over to the right: The bulb worked.
- So now I know that the bulb is OK and the housing is OK, but the lamp does not work. Would this be because of a fuse, or is it a wiring issue, and if it is a wiring issue, how difficult is it to fix.

Checked all that out...

and nothing.

I am so ticked at this because on top of this little issue my passenger side window motor has gone out. Have a replacement on the way and will do the work myself, but d@**it!

I wonder who else has had this issue? I really don't want to do any rewiring.

yes they do... Do a search on Ebay (separately). "G35 side marker sedan" & "G35 side marker coupe". compare the pictures and you could clearly tell sedan one is skinner than the coupe.

Well, the craziest thing happened.

I was washing my car last night and the darn light started working on its own. I think it is an issue with the socket for the light so I am gonna give it a little time to see what happens then I am gonna replace the socket if it goes out again.

with me, my connectors were loose. the little pieces of metal that actually make the connection with the bulb were loose on my right side so power wasn't getting to the bulb. now i just add a strip of aluminum foil to my bulb, but one day I'll quit being lazy n fix the connector.
