04 Fog/High, Low beam and Clearance strip help.

Hey guys, I took apart my 04 Headlights to paint them black and I ordered a pair of 12" LED lights for the clearance strip from V-Led/// this model: http://www.v-leds.com/Strip-Lights-L...-p9746979.html

I do not have the auto light option on the coupe, so is it possible to make the clearance strip as DRL w/out having the automatic headlight option on the car? I also wanted to make the clearance strip blink with the turn signal as well.

I think the car dose not have DRL's. I had just bought the car last week and took the bumper out to make my 1st mod of painting the headlights. I searched through the forums and I could not find any help/pictures regarding what wires to connect my clearance strip LED's to make them blink with turn signal and also have them as DRL's.

Also, I want to upgrade my low beams to a bit better bluish color. Currently the car has Philips Ultinon 6k HID bulbs and yellow fogs. I want to change the Philips 6K HID to 8000K DDM Tuning HID Kit with 35W Slim Ballast with D2R bulb. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W If i get this HID kit, will i need any kind of harness or adapters with it? they have a picture of the connections that the kit comes with, is this just a simple plug and play? or should i stick with the Phillips 6K bulbs? I know i will looks a bit visibility but i don't normally drive too much at night.

For the Fog lights, I think i'll just leave it yellow, as I don't think there is enough room to mount 2 ballasts on the bottom of the headlight. If there is enough room, would another H4 8K kit from DDM Tuning be ok or the stock yellow fogs with bluish 8K low beams look good?

Thanks for all your help guys, I'm a real noob and I do not want to mess this up as new headlights cost $500+

The easiest way to make DRLs is get "add a circuit" from auto parts store and then connect it to a fuse that is activate with the ign or acc. I used the fuel pump location. Use that to activate a 4 prong relay which is connect directly to the battery and your power wire for the leds. ground the relay and the leds and you will be good to go. There is a thread on here that some canadian guys posted with more details. Search if you need help with the relay.

Look up the sidemarker blinker mod for instructions the turn signal stuff. There is a thread for that.

I do not know how to get DRL and turn signal together.
.

Lastly, I don't recommend adding a HID kit to the fogs. You will create a lot of extra light off of the reflector bowl and it will be dangerous for others on the road.

I've got LEDs in my Clearance strip and I would like to have them on all the time instead of just at night while my headlights are on. So like the OP I would like to make my clearance strip lights into DRLs. I've been doing quite a bit of searching but I haven't really figured out how to do this with the add-a-circuit. Could you possibly point me to a thread that may have some more info on this, or if you'd like to you could maybe go into a little more detail? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance
