I want to switch to an LED lights for my rear license plates.

How do I go about and swap out the bulbs? And what led bulbs would my 2006 G35 sedan need?

I owned a Lexus RX300 in the past and it was an easy plug and play but this is my first time owning a car (non-SUV) so everything is a lot different to me, especially tighter space to work with.

 

did u search, its really easy,

i didn't even look online to do this mod, i just looked under the licese plate and took out the sockets from the light holes. just look and youll see. trust me.

 

The assemblies just pop out then the bulb pops out of the assemblies pretty straight forward. They are T10 base bulbs

 

This is almost as easy as swapping out the clear sides! Requires a small screw driver to pop each side out while you lay on your back, just trade bulbs. Make sure you turn on your lights to make sure they're working before closing. I always wear medical grade gloves when installing LEDs....Gary
